1 Acceptance

By using Cortex AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2 Service Description

Cortex AI is a persistent memory system for AI coding assistants distributed as an npm package and MCP server. It provides local memory storage, anti-hallucination tools, and convention learning.

3 Plans & Pricing

Free Plan — Limited to 20 memories and basic features. Free forever.
Pro Plan ($9/month or $79/year) — Unlimited memories, all 14 brain layers, anti-hallucination tools, auto-learning, and priority support.
7-Day Free Trial — New users receive a 7-day trial of Pro features. Credit card not required for trial. After trial, your plan automatically reverts to Free unless you subscribe.

4 License Keys

Each license key is for individual use only. You may not share, sell, or distribute your license key. We reserve the right to revoke keys that show signs of abuse or sharing.

5 Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy (our Merchant of Record). You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with LemonSqueezy's refund policy.

6 Data Ownership

You own your data. All memories, code analysis, and project context are stored locally on your machine. We do not have access to or claim any rights over your code, projects, or stored memories.

7 Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The license validation API may experience brief outages. The core product functions offline with cached license validation.

8 Limitation of Liability

Cortex AI is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our software, including but not limited to data loss, incorrect code suggestions, or service interruptions.

9 Modifications

We may update features, pricing, and these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10 Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or fail to make payment. Upon termination, your license key will be deactivated, but local data remains on your machine.

11 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Andhra Pradesh, India.
