1 Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we collect:
- Email address — to create your account
- Name — for display purposes
- Google account ID — to link your identity
- Profile picture URL — for your avatar
We do not collect passwords, as authentication is handled entirely through Google OAuth.
2 How We Use Your Data
- Generate and manage your license key
- Process subscription payments via LemonSqueezy
- Send important account notifications
- Provide customer support
3 Your Code & Memories
Cortex AI stores all memories locally on your machine. We never upload, access, or store your code, project data, or AI conversation memories on our servers. Your intellectual property remains entirely yours.
4 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, our Merchant of Record. We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or payment details. LemonSqueezy is PCI-DSS compliant. See LemonSqueezy's Privacy Policy.
5 Data Storage
Account data (email, name, license key) is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (AWS US East 1). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

7 Data Deletion
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing perlajaswanthkumar@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
8 Cookies
We use a single HttpOnly session cookie (cortex_token) to keep you signed
in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
9 Children's Privacy
Cortex AI is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10 Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
